As an actor, I strive to use my past experiences and research to create truthful, genuine characters so that the audience finds them relatable. I seek to help inspire audiences to learn something new, be challenged to think and to leave the theatre changed as a result. I desire to pursue growth and learning from my audience, myself, and others throughout my journey as an artist.
I have been performing since 2008 and have been in over 75 shows both academic, regional, and professional! Here are some of my favorite projects over the years!
My love for Musical Theatre can be traced back to when I was 3 years old and saw my first musical, Seussical the Musical. I left the theatre singing "Oh the thinks you can think." For my 7th birthday, I begged for voice lessons and that semester started singing at a theater performing arts after school program. The same semester I was in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Jr. After that, I was hooked! My life has been filled with all things theatre and I was a part of some great programs both in and out of school. I auditioned for a lot of colleges and landed at Molloy University/CAP 21 in New York.
In 2012, I did my first technical theater position as Stage Manager of 13 the Musical. Since then, I have tried just about any position that was needed. I have most often been part of Wardrobe and Costumes. My positions have ranged from costumes, makeup, stage management, music operator and run crew.
I am currently working with Santa Fe Playhouse on the production of Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy. I am Wardrobe Supervisor where I will be spending lots of time with blood. I am also Director Observer of the talented Anna Hogan.
